How to Get the Discount:

How to get from the Airport to the Competition Venue
To reach the competition venue, you first need to get to Syntagma Square, and then head towards the University of Athens.
From the Airport to Syntagma Square:
There are two options:
1) By Metro
- Take Metro Line 3 (Blue Line) directly from Athens International Airport.
- Get off at "Syntagma" station.
- Ticket cost: €9 (one-way), €16 (return).
- Duration: 40-50 minutes.
- The ticket is valid for other metro/bus rides within 90 minutes.
2) By Bus X95
- The X95 express bus departs right outside the airport and terminates at Syntagma Square.
- Ticket cost: €5.50, payable by:
- Tapping your credit card on the machine inside the bus, or
- Purchasing a physical ticket from the kiosk at the bus departure area of the airport.
- Duration: Approximately 75 minutes.
From Syntagma Square to the Competition Venue:
Once you arrive at Syntagma Square, you can get to the venue in two ways:
1) On foot: Walk 600 meters (~10 minutes) towards the University of Athens.
2) By metro:
- Take the Red Line (Line 2) from "Syntagma" to "Panepistimio" (1 stop, direction "Anthoupoli").
This will get you to the competition venue quickly and conveniently!
